Churma Ladoo Recipe in Microwave

Ingredients for Rajasthani Churma Laddu
- Wheat flour – ½ cup (75 grams)
- Semolina – ½ cup (50 grams)
- Desi ghee – ½ cup (125 grams)
- Sugar – ¾ cup (200 grams)
- Milk – ½ cup
- Cashew nuts – 10 to 12
- Almonds – 10 to 12
- Cardamom powder – ½ tsp
How to make Churma Laddu in Microwave
For making Rajasthani churma ladoo in microwave, take a microwave safe bowl. Add wheat flour, semolina, gram flour, ghee, sugar and milk in the bowl and mix all ingredients really well. Microwave the mixture for 3 minutes.
Finely chop almonds and cashews.
Take out the mixture from microwave after 3 minutes and stir well. Place back the bowl in microwave for 3 more minutes. After 3 minutes are over, take out the bowl and stir again. The color of mixture has slightly changed and you can smell good aroma. Keep the bowl again in the microwave and cook for 2 more minutes. Take it out again after 2 minutes and stir well.
Now microwave the mixture for 1 more minute and take out the bowl. Stir the mixture well. Repeat the process for 1 to 2 times until the mixture gets golden brown in color and releases good aroma.
When the mixture is roasted well, add chopped almonds and cashews into it and microwave for 1 more minute.
Mixture for making churma ladoo is ready. Now make a small lump from the mixture and roll giving it a round shape like ladoo. If the mixture appears too dry and it’s getting difficult to bind the ladoos then add 2 to 3 tbsp milk and 2 to 3 tbsp ghee into it and make the ladoos. Similarly, make ladoos from rest of the mixture as well. With this much quantity 17 ladoos can be prepared. Mouth watering churma ladoos are ready. Store them in any air tight container and relish eating for up to 10 to 12 days.
- Don’t microwave the mixture for a longer duration, mixture can get overcooked.
