Quick Recipe of Veg Schezwan Fried Rice Street Food Style

Sometimes there is a desire to make something that can be ready in minutes and does not have to work too hard.  Something that is wonderful in taste and also fills our stomach.  Keeping this in mind, today we are going to make Schezwan Fried Rice, a recipe that can be made in minutes.  These rice will be made with a very easy recipe and if you have already cooked rice in your fridge then it will be ready in a jiffy.


Ingredients for Schezwan Fried Rice


Basmati Rice - 1 cup (wash it and keep it in water for 15-20 minutes)

Salt - 1 tsp (for rice)

Oil - 1 tsp (for rice)

Oil - 2 tbsp

Ginger - 1 tsp grated

Carrot - ½ cup, finely chopped

French Beans - ½ cup, finely chopped

Capsicum - ½ cup, finely chopped

Cabbage - ½ cup, finely chopped

Salt - ½ tsp

Soya Sauce - 1 tsp

Schezwan Sauce - 1.5 tbsp

Vinegar - 1 tsp

Tomato Sauce - 1 tbsp


Process of boiling rice


Put about 4 cups of water in a vessel, cover it and bring it to a boil.  After boiling, add 1 cup of basmati rice (washed and soaked in water for 15-20 minutes) in it.  Also add 1 tsp of salt and 1 tsp of oil, it makes rice blooming.  Now cover and cook it for 5 minutes, remember not to cover it completely, let it remain open for a bit.


When the time is up, check them one by one, if the rice is raw then cover it for 2 minutes and cook it more.  Check them again after 2 minutes, they will be ready when cut with a finger comfortably.  Now filter them and separate their water.  Spread them in a long tray so that they cool down quickly.  Remember, to make Schezwan Fried Rice, the rice should be completely cold.  In this way the rice will be cooked and ready.


Process of making Schezwan Fried Rice


After the rice cools down completely, put 2 tbsp of oil in a pan and spread it in a pan and heat it.  Put 1 tsp of grated ginger in hot oil (8-10 garlic cloves can be finely chopped or you can also take ginger garlic paste instead) and stir lightly, remember that the flame will be low-medium.


After this, add ½ cup of finely chopped carrots, ½ cup of finely chopped french beans, ½ cup of finely chopped capsicum and ½ cup of finely chopped cabbage and turn up the flame.  Now fry them a little while stirring continuously.  Also, add ½ tsp of salt and mis it while stirring, remember that vegetables should not be fried too much, they should remain crisp.


After frying the vegetables for 2 minutes, reduce the flame to low and add the cooled rice to it.  Also add 1 tsp of soy sauce, 1 tsp of vinegar, 1.5 tbsp of schezwan sauce and 1 tbsp of tomato sauce.  Now mix them with light hands, after mixing, turn off the gas.  Schezwan Fried Rice is ready, serve it and enjoy its taste.




If you are cooking rice immediately, then do not cook them too much, and filter them and cool them well.

When cooking vegetables, do not cook them for more than 2 minutes at all.
