Spicy Nutri Kulcha | Soya Korma Kulcha

 

Nutri Kulcha is a recipe which is going to awaken your taste buds, its lip-smacking taste will make you drool over its flavours. 

Ingredients of Nutri Kulcha Curry

  • Kulche - 5
  • Soya Nuggets - 1 cup (650 gms)
  • Tomatoes - 4 (350 gms)
  • Green Chillies - 2 (finely chopped)
  • Ginger - 2 (grated)
  • Oil - 2 tbsp
  • Butter - 1 tbsp
  • Ghee - 1 tbsp
  • Coriander Leaves - 2 tbsp
  • Cumin Seeds - ½ tsp
  • Coriander Powder - 1 tsp
  • Red Chilli Powder - ½ tsp
  • Mango Powder - ¼ tsp
  • Garam Masala - ½ tsp
  • Cumin Powder - ½ tsp
  • Soya Sauce - 1 tsp
  • Tea Bag - 1
  • Salt - 1 tsp (or to taste)

How to make Nutri Kulcha Curry

Take a vessel filled with 2 to 2.5 cups of water and preheat it. Add 1 tea bag to it along with ½ teaspoon of salt. Add 1 cup of soya nuggets to it and boil for 10 minutes till they are soft.

Drain out the boiled soya nuggets on a strainer over a bowl. Remove the tea bag from it. Press the boiled nuggets using a spoon to drain out extra water from it. Take a pan and preheat it to make the Masala mixture.

Add 2 tablespoons of oil to the pan to heat it. Take 4 tomatoes, 2 green chillies, a ½ inch of ginger and grind them in the mixer to prepare the paste. Add ½ teaspoon of cumin seeds in the heated oil and roast it. After roasting cumin seeds, add ½ teaspoon of cumin powder, ¼ teaspoon of mango powder to it and roast them till oil separates from them.

Add 1 teaspoon of dry fenugreek leaves after crushing it.  Add ½ teaspoon of Garam Masala, 1 teaspoon of soya sauce and saute them. Add 1 tablespoon of clarified butter to it and stir till it melts. After melting the butter, add the boiled soya nuggets to it along with ½ teaspoon of salt.

Add the tea water to it and cook till the curry appears thick. Add 1 tablespoon of butter and garnish with finely chopped green coriander. The Soya Nuggets Curry is ready to be served.

Apply some clarified butter on a pan to cook Kulchas. Add Kulcha on it and cook while stirring it. Cook all the Kulchas in the same manner. The Nutri Kulcha is ready to be served.  Serve it along with green coriander dip.

Suggestions

You can increase or decrease the quantity of red chilli powder and clarified butter according to your taste.
