Besan Pakoda Kadhi recipe in Microwave.
Everyone relish eating besan pakoda Kadhi, but making kadhi is bit time consuming. Kadhi can be prepared in microwave very easily and instantly. Kadhi prepared in microwave is as delicious as kadhi prepared on flame. The pakodas to be added in kadhi can be prepared in microwave very easily that to with very less oil. So, if you prefer having less oil then do try making besan kadhi in microwave.

Ingredients for Besan Pakoda Kadhi recipe in Microwave
- Gram flour - 1 cup
- Curd - 1 cup
- Oil - 2 tbsp
- Curry leaves - 10 to 12
- Ginger paste - 1 tsp or grated
- Green chilly - 1 to 2 finely chopped
- Salt - 1.25 tsp or as per taste
- Fenugreek seeds - 1/4 tsp
- Cumin seeds - 1/4 tsp
- Asafoetida - 1 pinch
- Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
- Red chilly powder - 1/4 tsp
- Eno fruit salt - 1/4 tsp
How to make Besan Pakoda Kadhi recipe in Microwave
Take gram flour in a big bowl and add less than 1/2 cup water to it. Stir until all lumps dissolve completely. The consistency of this batter should be same as the consistency of batter required for making pakodas. Whisk the batter for 3 to 4 minutes nicely. Take out half amount of batter in a separate bowl to make the pakodas.
Add whisked curd and four cups of water in the second half of the batter.
How to make Pakora for Kadhi in Microwave
Add enu fruit salt in the left over part of gram flour batter and mix really well. Pour the batter to microwave idli stand's all molds. Place the idli stand in microwave and cook for 1.5 minutes. Take it out. Pakodas prepared without oil in microwave are ready. Allow them to cool.
How to make Kadhi in Microwave
Take a microwave safe bowl. Place the curd and gram flour in microwave safe bowl. Add turmeric powder, green chilly and half the amount of red chilly powder in the batter and mix well. Place the bowl in microwave and cook for 3 minutes on highest temperature. Take out the bowl and stir the kadhi with a ladle nicely.
Place back the bowl in microwave and cook for 2 more minutes. Take out the bowl and stir the kadhi again with a ladle. Place it back in microwave and cook for 2 minutes more. Kadhi has started simmering slightly. Take out the bowl. This is same stage which comes while making the kadhi on flame where kadhi need to be stirred constantly.
Pakodas have cooled. Now cut each in four chunks. Add pakodas and salt in kadhi. Cover the kadhi and microwave for 2 minutes. Take out the bowl, kadhi is now ready.
Take a small pan and add some oil to it. When oil is hot, add fenugreek seeds and cumin seeds to it. After sauteing for while, turn off the flame and add chopped curry leaves and rest of the red chilly powder to it. Pour the tadka over the kadhi and mix well. Delicious microwave kadhi is ready. Serve with rice, roti, parantha or poori and relish eating.
- Make sure you make smooth batter without any lumps. Do whisk the curd. Add curd, gram flour and water nicely to make a batter.
- If you don't have idli stand then take microwave small bowls or ice cream cubes for making the pakodas.
