Green Moong Ladoo with Jaggery
Today we are going to make Sabut Moong Ladoo, especially for the winter season. These will be ready quickly with very few ingredients. Will make them with jaggery not with sugar. Make these in the winter season, they will save you and your family from disease in winter. So you too make these laddus with this easy recipe and enjoy its taste with your family.
Ingredients for Green Moong Ladoo
Green Grams - 1 cup (200 grams)
Jaggery - 160 grams
Desi Ghee - 4-5 tbsp
Almond Flakes - ¼ cup
Cashew - 8-10, chopped
Cardamom - 4, coarsely crushed
Process of making Moong Flour
Put 1 cup of moong in the pan and fry it on medium flame while stirring continuously. Fry them till they change colour slightly, after roasting take them out and let them cool down. When it cools down, put the roasted moong in the mixer jar and grind it till it becomes very coarse. In this way moong dal flour will be ready.
Process of making Jaggery Syrup
Put 160 grams of jaggery and 2 tbsp of water in the pan and cook on the flame till the jaggery dissolves. They have to be cooked while stirring them in a while. When the jaggery dissolves completely, syrup will be ready, turn off the flame and let it cool down.
Process of making Mixture for Ladoo
Put 2 tbsp of ghee in a pan and heat it. Put moong dal flour in hot ghee and fry it for 2 minutes while stirring continuously on low-medium flame. Remember, the flour has to be roasted only till it changes colour. If the dough looks dry, then add 2 more tbsp of ghee to it.
After frying for 2 minutes, add 8-10 finely chopped cashews and ½ cup of almond flakes and fry for 2 minutes. When the time is over, turn off the flame and add 4 coarsely ground cardamom and mix it well. Take it out in a bowl.
Filter the jaggery syrup and add it to the mixture and mix it well. In this way, the mixture for making laddus will be ready.
Process of making Ladoo
Apply some ghee on your hand and lift the mixture as much as you want to make big or small laddus. Tie them in a round shape, tie all the laddus in the same way. In this way, the whole moong ladoos will be ready. Serve them and enjoy their taste.
Roast the moong dal on low-medium flame while stirring continuously.
To make jaggery syrup, water has to be measured and poured.
Moong dal has to be finely like flour.
