Vrat ka falahari Neer dosa for Navratri । Rice Dosa । Dosa for fast
Neer dosa is a dosa which is prepared with very less ingredients.
Ingredients for Neer Dosa
- Soaked Samo Rice (समा के चावल ) - 1 cup ( 200 gms)
- White portion of Fresh coconut (नारियल ) - 1/4 cup ( grated )
- Ghee (घी) - 3 to 4 tbsp
- Sendha Salt (सेंधा नमक ) - 1 tsp or to taste
How to make the Neer Dosa
For the batter
Take sago samo rice, clean, wash and soak them. Finely grind the soaked rice along with ¼ cup of grated coconuts and add 2 to 3 tbsp of water while grinding.
Add 1.5 cups of water in the fine texture batter to make it of thin consistency. Add 1 tsp of sendha salt and mix it properly.
For roasting the neer dosa
Preheat the non-stick laughter and spread ghee evenly on it to make it greasy. Stir the batter once and spread some batter on the laughter evenly. Put some ghee around it and cover the dosa so that it is steamed well on the upper side. Cook it for 2 minutes.
Reduce the flame to make it crispy and remove the lid. Cook it without covering for 1 to 1.5 minutes.
Flip the dosa and cook on the medium flame. Remove it from the laughter when it has cooked.
For the second round of dosa
Stir the batter once as rice flour settles at the base and cook the anther dosa in the same way. It takes 5-6 minutes to cook a dosa. You can make 5 to 6 neer dosa out of the prepared batter.
You can serve it with vrat special green coriander chutney or coconut chutney.
Prepare an extremely thin consistency of the batter for the dosa.
Add water in the batter if it appears thick.
You can also use the peanut oil, sesame seeds oil and any desired oil.
