How to peel garlic without making a mess?

    Use jar openers (round flat pieces of rubber). Put garlic clove in the center of the jar opener and fold it in half over the garlic. Then press downwards with your hand rolling it back and forth over the garlic.

    Rub a head of garlic briskly between your hands to remove its outer papery layer. Separate the cloves from one another and set aside as many as you need for your recipe. Save the rest for later... :)

    Take garlic and break it up into individual cloves. Lay the cloves on the cutting board individually and using a relatively wide knife place it's flat side on the piece of garlic.  Gently smash down garlic, now garlic will come out right of it's shell. No need to spend some time trying to peel it with a knife!!

    To peel garlics easily, just place them in the microwave for 25 seconds and skin will peel off without even a liitle difficulty...!
