08 Feb 2012 03:46:13 PM FlagArrange brinjal slices on a plate and put it in the freezer. Take out after the given time. When the slices soften, press out a lot of water with the palm of your hand, releasing most of the bitterness.

08 Feb 2012 03:38:26 PM FlagSlice the brinjal then sprinkle salt onto one side. Leave brinjal aside for 30 minutes to allow the solanine (a chemical found in the flesh) to drain out. Now gently wipe off with a damp cloth.
